Charli XCX is gearing up for a substantial film appearance in 2026, starting with the mockumentary titled The Moment.
Within the project, the artist portrays what she refers to as a dark version of herself.
It’s the truest representation of the music business that I’ve ever seen, Charli remarked.
She elaborated in a discussion: It’s not a tour documentary, however the inspiration came from the demand to make one.
A Sneak Peek into The Project
The initial preview, unveiled on recently, combines authentic footage from her recent tour with fictionalized off-stage interactions.
The film is helmed and co-scripted by Aidan Zamiri, who shared that the narrative revolves around a scenario where the artist took completely different paths throughout the publicity of her hugely successful record Brat.

February will also include the launch of the filmmaker’s interpretation of Wuthering Heights, which will feature fresh tracks from the singer.
She is also set to provide music for the story Mother Mary, with Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, planned for launch next year.
The Moment is scheduled to debut on the 30th of January.
